Privacy Policy
Spider Player is a media player app that connects to your own IPTV subscription over the Xtream Codes protocol.
Data Storage
The application retains the following information exclusively on your device:
- IPTV credentials, stored in the device Keychain
- Favorites, viewing progress, and hidden categories
- Application preferences (language, playback engine, format)
- Optional parental-control PIN
- Files you download for offline viewing
The app contains no analytics or advertising SDKs. None of the information above is transmitted to our servers — your saved account details, favorites, watch history, and downloaded files never leave your device.
Network Activity
The app makes two kinds of network connections. The first is directly between your device and the IPTV provider's server whose details you enter yourself — this is how the app streams and downloads content. The second happens only if you sign in with a subscription code: your device briefly contacts our server to look up that provider's connection address. This lookup sends only the code itself — never your password or any activity from inside the app.
Third-Party Data
We do not share any data with third parties.
Data Removal
You can clear the app's data at any time from Settings, or remove it entirely by deleting the app.
Children's Privacy
The app is not directed at children. Optional parental controls let you hide categories from a profile set up for a child.
Policy Updates
This policy may be revised from time to time; the date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.
